I'm Coming Home 집으로 가는 길 (Montreal Mission 2018)

From August 13-17, 13 of us from Toronto made a mission trip to Montreal.

8월 13일부터 17일까지 토론토의 13명의 선교팀이 몬트리얼로 선교여행을 떠났습니다.

We tried to meet people…especially those who live on the streets..those we thought who needed the most help. You may call them homeless people.

우리는 거리에 있는 사람들과 만나 친구가 되기 위해 노력했습니다. 흔히 노숙인이라고 불리우는 사람들과 말입니다.

Coming back, from the trip, I was stuck with this one question, "What does it mean to be homeless?"

여행을 마치고 나서, 저는 "집이 없다 라는 것이 과연 무슨 뜻일까" 라는 질문에 사로잡혔습니다.

You see, we were all homeless to begin with, seperated from God, unable to listen the voice who created us. It's everyone's journey then, to find our true home. We, the mission team believe that Jesus is the way to the true home, and for that reason, we reached people on the streets to show them the way, so that they can start walking towards their home.

사실 우리 모두는 태어나는 순간부터 집이 없습니다. 우리의 창조주이신 하나님으로부터 단절되어 그분의 목소리를 들을 수 없기 때문입니다. 그렇기에, 우리 모두는 참 안식처를 찾아 떠나는 여행을 하고 있습니다. 저희 선교팀은 예수님이 참 안식처로 가는 유일한 길임을 믿고 있기에, 거리의 사람들에게 그 길을 안내했습니다. 그들 스스로가 그 길로 떠나는 여행을 시작할 수 있게 말입니다.

We hope and pray that God will use our words and actions to guide them, so their souls will find true rest.

우리의 소망과 기도는 우리의 말과 행동이 작은 씨앗이 되어 그들이 집으로 돌아가 하나님 안에 평안을 누리는 것입니다.
